Basically, an esthetician will take a small scalpel and very gently scrape the surface of your skin using light, feathering strokes.
“Six to eight passes are then performed on each area on the face to ensure all dead skin and vellus hair has been removed,” explains Cates. “Lastly, we apply medical grade serums to help address your specific skin care concerns. This treatment can be paired with a chemical peel- which we can discuss in your consultation.”
