Losing weight through physical activity and nutrition is a time-consuming process. While it works at a steady pace for overweight people, obese people are more resistant to this method of shredding. Therefore, their body transformation results are slow. But with the rising popularity of Cryolipolysis, reducing your body’s fat is quick, easy and effective.

What Is Cryolipolysis?

Cryolipolysis is a fat reduction, sculpting treatment. The fat cells are targeted in the troubled areas of your body through a cryolipolysis treatment. Cryolipolysis is a non-surgical, safe and secure fat reduction procedure, which allows you to lose body fat easily and effortlessly. though the crystallization of the fat cells.

How Does Cryolipolysis Work?

Cryolipolysis is also known as ‘fat freezing’. It is quite similar to any cold treatment such as icing a wound. The Cryolipolysis procedure of weight loss targets the fat cells in your body and compresses them until they completely crystallize. Once these cells are frozen or crystallized, your body slowly eliminates these fat cells.

What To Expect?

  • A Certified Cryolipolysis Professional will consult to answer any questions you may have and take photos and measurements.

  • Once prepped and comfortable, a gel pad and applicator to a specific area of your body. The vacuum applicator then rapidly cools the targeted area and crystallizes the fat cells.  Any discomfort felt will last about 1-2 minutes until the applicator reaches optimum temperature.

  • Once the allotted time is completed, a technician will massage the treated area for 1-2 minutes.

  • The CRYO FAT PRO procedure typically, it takes 1 hour start to finish.

How Many Treatments Are Needed?

The number of sessions also depends on the density of the fat cells in your body, the patients activity level, patients eating habits and general lifestyle. It also depends on the targeted area of your body.

How does Ultrasonic Cavitation work?

The Ultrasonic Cavitation field causes bubbles in the fluids to form around the fat cells, causing them to expand and implode gradually. Because fat cell membranes lack thestructural capacity to tolerate vibrations, ultrasonic cavitation easily damages them while protecting vascular, neuronal, and muscular tissue.

A trained therapist applies a specifically developed handpiece to the target location. The handpiece sends out powerful low-level ultrasonic waves that use acompression-expansion mechanism and travel in high-speed cycles. By repeating this cycle, an unlimited number of micro-cavities (micro-bubbles) will enlarge. The progressive growth of the micro-cavities causes collision and implosion, resulting in the emission of waves that promote emulsification and removal of the fat tissues in the target area (this phenomenon is known as cavitation). The lymphatic and urinary systems quickly remove this liquid from the body, resulting in fat loss.

What is Radio Frequency(RF)?

Radio Frequency (RF) is an efficient approach to enhance skin tightness and elasticity, eliminate wrinkles and cellulite, and improve overall body condition on areas such as the face, chin, upper arm, abdomen, thighs, bra line, and buttocks. The procedure causes tissue remodeling as well as the synthesis of new collagen and elastin. The treatment is an alternative to facelifts and other cosmetic

How does Radio Frequency (RF) work?

Radio Frequency (RF) devices employ a handpiece that rotates gently across the treatment region. The handpiece sends radio waves through the upper layers of theskin to the dermis, heating it to 39- 45°C while leaving the epidermis unharmed.

The application of this heat to the dermis results in three excellent benefits:

Tissue retraction – The heat produces local contraction of the collagen fibres, tightening the skin and revealing a raised, tighter, and more youthful aspect.

Heating the dermis encourages the generation of new collagen, which is vital in thefight against indications of ageing. Increased collagen results in plumper, firmer skin with greater flexibility. Improved circulation — RF enhances blood and lymphaticflow as well. This promotes increased oxygen supply and toxin clearance, whichhelps to minimise the signs and consequences of aging

How does it feel during the Ultrasonic or RF treatment?

The majority of consumers believe the treatment is painless and comfortable. Somepeople may experience some discomfort as a result of the unique noise spreadinginside the body, however, this causes no harm and vanishes as soon as theapplicator is withdrawn away from the body. During the therapy, you may also feel aheat sensation. If it becomes too heated, apply more ultrasonic gel if this does notmake the client comfortable discontinue the treatment right away.

How is the fat eliminated from the body?

The ultrasound cavitation induces fat emulsification by rupturing the fat cellmembrane, releasing its fat content and transforming it into a material that is easily eliminated by the sweat gland, liver sausage circulation, the lymphatic system, andfinally through urine.

During and after the cavitation therapy, excess fat is discharged into theinterstitial space between the cells. It is converted to glycerol and fatty free acidshere. Glycerol is a water-soluble substance that is absorbed by the circulatorysystem and used as a source of energy.

The insoluble fatty free acids are carried through the liver and kidneys, digested as ifthey were fatty acids from diets, and then naturally removed from the body.

Who can have Ultrasound and Radio Frequency treatments?

A full assessment during the pre-treatment consultation will determine your suitability.

People who experience:

  • Acute illness

  • Comprised liver function

  • Severe bleeding tendencies

  • Have a Pacemaker

  • Breastfeeding or Pregnant

Can I lose weight with Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Cavitation is not designed specifically to lose weight, more so to reshape the body. It is particularly effective in the reduction of the adiposity (love handles) that are hard to reduce through diet and exercise. The treatment offers similar results to lipo suction as it removes the cellulite and prevents it from recurring without damaging the vascular system.

Who is not suitable for Cavitation?

Patients will NOT be able to start a Fat Cavitation treatment before consultingyour doctor if any of the below apply:

  • During menstruation (applies only to treatment of theabdomen) Skin infections and diseases

  • Acute fever

  • Thyroid disease and other hormonaldisorders Any other chronic diseases

  • Heart diseases or pacemakers

  • Allergy to applied materials (eg ceramic)

  • Severe high blood pressure or circulationproblems Cancer

  • Deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins,Epilepsy

  • Hemorrhagic disease, trauma, vascularrupture Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Infectious diseases

  • Inflammation of the veins, phlebitis Intrauterine device avoid abdomen Liver orkidney disease

  • Wounds, sores

  • Treatment with anti-inflammatories, anticoagulants, antibiotics Metal Coil Fitted (tummy area treatments only, new plastic coil is fine)

  • Currently Pregnant

  • Under 18

  • Cancer: Cancer cells travel via the lymphatic system, as does waste produced by UltrasoundCavitation. A treatment presents an unacceptable risk of helping to move cancer cells.

  • Cold or flu symptoms or fever: Ultrasound Cavitation releases toxins from the body via the lymphatic system, and treatments can exacerbate flu symptoms which also leave the body the same way.

  • Swollen lymph nodes: Treatments cannot be performed in areas where lymph nodes are swollen, infected, or not draining properly.

  • Oedema or localized swelling of limbs indicates poor lymphatic flow. Treatments are notdesigned to alleviate oedema and may in fact exacerbate the condition.

  • Active Infections & Immunosuppression: These factors compromise the healing ability of the body, andUltrasound Cavitation should not be attempted until the infection or deficiency is cleared.

  • Liver, Kidney, or Heart Disease: Compromises the ability of the body to recover fromtreatments. Severe hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, or poor circulation ofblood and lymph.

  • Pregnancy: Sound waves generated by the treatment will very likely harm an unborn child’s hearing and may also result in compromising its immune system.

  • Breastfeeding: As mother’s milk draws nutrients from the body, there is an unacceptable degree of risk that toxins may pass into the milk and therefore be ingested by a nursing child.

  • Lymph nodes and joints cannot be treated with cavitation.

  • The face and neck cannot be treated with cavitation however RF can be.

  • Menstruation: During a period, the abdomen cannot be treated however other areas can be.

  • Metallic Implants: People who have metal implanted anywhere in their bodies, such as bone pins orpacemakers cannot receive treatment.

  • Skin allergies or inflammation: Areas with obvious signs of inflammation cannot be treated.

  • **Minors: Due to the changing hormonal and fat deposits in the growing body during puberty, wedo not treat clients under 18 years of age with Ultrasound Cavitation or Radio Frequency.**

Is Ultrasound Cavitation & Radio Frequency safe?

This is a non-surgical procedure that is non-invasive and requires no recovery time.

Ultra Cavitation is a safe, non-surgical procedure without anaesthesia, it is non-invasive, no cutting, no scars and no downtime should be experienced after the treatment. Due to specific ultrasound parameters of energy levels ensure selective damage to fat cells only and do not interfere with anyother organs. There is no report of side effects for these treatments. However, some people may experience transient redness, excessive thirst, and nausea immediately after the treatment which always resolves by drinking water. They are all short-term effects that will disappear shortly.

Can I lose weight with Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Cavitation is not designed specifically to lose weight, more so to reshape the body. It is particularlyeffective in the reduction of the adiposity (love handles) that are hard to reduce through diet and exercise. The treatment offers similar results to liposuction as it removes the cellulite and prevents it from recurring without damaging the vascular system.

What can one expect with the results?

The cavitation treatment yields immediate and long-lasting results. Ultra Cavitation is a very effective procedure that requires only 6-12 treatments per area. Most clients experience noticeable circumference reduction after a single session with increasing results after each visit. The results mayvary with different tissue structures, treatment areas, ages, metabolism, medications, and changes in hormones. Proper diet and increased physical activity will certainly improve and help to maintain theresults.

What are the long term results I can expect with Cavitation?

Gradually over a number of weeks, the body will clear down the broken down fatty tissues which will result in a volume reduction of fatty tissues. It is not uncommon to achieve results of up to a 10 cm reduction in body mass by the end of the course of treatments. These results will be long lasting, provided you follow a healthy diet and exercise programme. If you overeat or consume too muchalcohol, fat can easily be deposited back into the body.

How many times and how often should I have the treatments?

Ultrasound Cavitation: 6-12 sessions spaced 72 hours apart for the first 3 sessions, then once a week. Skin Tightening: 6-12 sessions spaced 48 hours apart for the first 3 sessions, thenonce a week.

After the initial treatments are completed, maintenance treatments consist of one session each month for 4 months followed by one treatment every 4 months

How long do I have to wait for another treatment?

The fat is eliminated from the body approximately 3 – 5 days following the treatment, therefore an interval of one week is recommended.

How many treatments will I need?

Between 8 – 12 treatments are recommended, however, you should experience significant results from the third session onwards.

Do I need to diet & exercise?

Drinking water is a necessary part of the fat elimination process so we recommend drinking 1.5 litres of water both before and after each session. A low-calorie diet and regular exercise should be maintained in order to aid the body in naturally passing the fat through its own natural filtration system.

Are there any side effects to this treatment?

There are rarely any side effects, however there maybe the slight possibility of some transient redness, excessive thirst or nausea immediately after the treatment which can be resolved by simply drinkingwater.

What after-care will optimize my results from an Ultrasound Fat Cavitation treatment?

Essentially, Ultrasonic Fat Cavitation is designed to destabilize and break down fat into carbohydrates and waste material. If not followed by exercise and plenty of water, the destabilized fat will reform andresettle. Think of the process in simple terms. Fat and sound waves. If you put a tub of butter in the microwave and heat it, the butter destabilizes into liquid. If you leave it to sit however, it solidifiesagain. The same applies to this treatment, and that’s why cardiovascular exercise and water are vital. Cardio afterwards serves two purposes; to burn off the released carbohydrates, and to encourage thecontraction and expansion of lymphatic vessels to channel out waste. Meanwhile, the water acts to thin that waste and to hasten its removal from the body through the urine.

What is the difference between ultrasonic fat cavitation and liposuction?

The Ultrasonic Cavitation has a similar result as liposuction. It removes cellulite and excess fat.preventing this from recurring in the treated areas, without damaging the vascular system. The procedure is painless and is very inexpensive compared to the thousands of dollars you could spendon liposuction.

Do I need to follow any guidelines before or after undergoing ultrasound fat cavitation & RF?

Try to avoid doing anything that will irritate your skin immediately before treatment. This includestanning (natural or artificial). It would be more likely to suffer pain from the addition of heat to the already damaged skin; however, an established tan would be fine.

  • Do not take hot shower, bath or sauna right after the Ultrasound treatment.

  • We recommend a low-calorie diet with protein in each meal and drink at least a glass of warm water (not carbonated, sparkling water, soda, coffee) before and after the session.

  • Drinking plenty of water and having exercise such as brisk walk, biking or other aerobic activities forat least 3 days after the treatment to stimulate the lymphatic activity as elimination of the fat continues through the Lymphatic System for 72 hrs.

  • Follow by a suitable exercise routine. Cavitation will be bestperformed under high hydration conditions, avoid taking any caffeine or diuretics 2 days beforetherapy.

  • Drinking water is a necessary part of the treatment to facilitate the elimination of broken-down fat.

  • Drink plenty of water to improve your metabolism and increase urine output — lipidmetabolites release out of your body.

  • After the treatment, patients are able to return to their daily activities as usual.

  • A lymph-draining massage is also encouraged to improve the circulation and lymphatic system, whichhelps to drain fluids. For best results, you should refrain from any alcohol consumption for 48 hoursafter the treatment.

  • Alcohol consumption during this period may prevent your liver from removing the deactivated fat cells from your body (as the liver will assign priority to remove the alcohol from your blood).

  • Maintaining a low stress lifestyle may help the body flush out the fat more efficiently.

  • Maintain a low-calorie diet for a few days following the treatment to ensure the energy released is properly utilised and metabolised by the body.
