WHAT IS A PDO THREAD LIFT?

A PDO Thread Lift is performed with biodegradable threads and a hypodermic needle. Polydioxanone threads are carefully placed beneath the skin to lift sagging skin, stimulate collagen production, and achieve a tighter contour in the treated area.

Although the PDO threads are broken down by the body within four to six months of the procedure the results will continue.  When the PDO threads placed, the body will begin to repair itself around the thread. This “repair” will stimulate collagen production in the skin and the skin will form to the new position created by the thread.
